Dr Death - Sgt Okada

Saraburi, Thailand. September 1945. Japanese Sergeant Seiichi Okada, at identification parade to enable prisoners of war (POWs) to identify war criminals. Okada was charged with forcing sick POWs to work at Hintok - Konyu during 1943 along the Burma-Thailand railway and was sentenced to ten years imprisonment. Also known as "Doctor Death", he was responsible for many POW deaths in the Konyu area, while he was a medical corporal and sergeant.
