Saraburi - Rice carrying party

Saraburi, Thailand. 1945. A prisoner of war (POW) rice carrying party. The general condition of the prisoners and the fact that the photograph has been taken quite openly suggests that the picture may have been taken at the conclusion of hostilities. Saraburi is approximately seventy five kilometres north east of Bangkok.

Sharing information with others is rewarding in itself, the pieces from the jigsaw begin to fit together and a picture begins to appear. Improve your knowledge and help make the Fepow Story an everlasting memorial to their memory.
