As we grow older, to our young we turn
From them a joy we can also learn,
To teach and to love always that feeling of concern
Their character through generations gain
The ability to achieve will be their aim
In our passing we live on in them
Memories to guide but not condemn
That absolute feeling to help them endure
Strengthens their resolve and insure
The joy of living with memories in mind
Makes them strong thoughtful and kind.
