Can we ever come to terms and understand
What is happening in our land?
Back to basics we must go
Drink and drugs its troubles we know,
Its evil power, with guns to suppress
Is anyone's ability to guess?
A surgeon with a firm hand and knife
Cuts out disease and restores life,
It's easy to say, but it has to be done
After all it affects everyone,
Our young who are our future be
Are easy targets, but cannot see,
Time for politicians to be strong
Or they will find themselves long gone.
